Author Biography

Judith Barrington, University of Alaska

Judith Barrington’s Lifesaving: A Memoir won the Lambda Book Award and was a finalist for the PEN/Martha Albrand Award. She is also the author of Writing the Memoir: From Truth to Art, as well as three collections of poetry. She is a faculty member of the University of Alaska’s MFA Program, a mentor for the University of Minnesota’s Split Rock Program, and she teaches for The Poetry School in Britain and Spain.
