John C Moorfield, Te Tumu, the School of Máori, Pacific and Indigenous Studies at the University of Otago, Dunedin

John Moorfield – BA (Auckland), MEd (Wales), Litt D (Otago), RSA Cambridge CTEFL A – is the author of the Te Whanake series. He is currently a professor at Te Tumu, the School of Máori, Pacific and Indigenous Studies at the University of Otago, Aotearoa/New Zealand, where he has worked since 1997. Prior to that he was at The University of Waikato for twenty-one years, after having taught in New Zealand secondary schools for eight years.
