Suzanne Human, Department of Art History and Visual Culture Studies, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein

Suzanne Human is a senior lecturer in the Department of Art History and Visual Culture Studies at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. Her area of research is ideology critique in art and visual culture, with special reference to gender, visual display cultures and visual narrative. Suzanne’s doctoral thesis is entitled “The Picaresque Tradition: Feminism and Ideology Critique”(1999).
