Kirsti Malterud, University of Bergen in Norway

Kirsti Malterud (MD PhD) is professor of General Practice at the University of Bergen in Norway, working halftime as a clinician. Her research has included doctor-patient communication, women’s health, patient perspectives, medically unexplained disorders, and patients’ strengths. Her recent research deals with overweight and marginalisation.

Arnhild Taksdal, Norwegian Board of Health Supervision

Arnhild Taksdal has conducted research mainly on marginalised groups and processes of marginalisation; prostitution, drug and alcohol treatment, women’s health and homelessness. She is now a senior advisor at the Norwegian Board of Health Supervision.
